Pay as You go
In this option, you will be charged MVR 3 every time you unlock, and then an additional MVR 0.3 per minute
1 hour Pass
The 1-hour pass is available for 15 MVR, allowing unlimited docking and undocking for one hour. This pass expires within 24 hours of purchase.

How do I download the Urban Glide app?
You can download the Urban Glide app from your preferred app store. Simply search for "Urban Glide MV" and follow the installation instructions.

Can I use Urban Glide if I'm under 18 years old?
Currently, Urban Glide is available only to riders aged 18 and above for safety reasons.

How does the pricing work?
You have two pricing options. You can either purchase a 1-hour pass for 15 MVR, which allows unlimited docking and undocking for one hour, or you can choose to pay as you go. For pay-as-you-go, every unlock costs 3 MVR, and after that, you are charged 0.3 MVR per minute of usage.

How do I unlock an e-scooter?
To unlock an e-scooter, open the Urban Glide app, locate a nearby docking station, and scan the QR code on the e-scooter of your choice.

Can I take Urban Glide to any road on Hulhumale or is there a specified area to ride?
Currently, you can only ride an Urban Glide within the specified geofenced area. This area is clearly marked on the map within your Urban Glide app.

What if I want to make a quick stop during my ride? Should I just park and leave Urban Glide?
Whenever you need to make a quick stop and intend to park Urban Glide, be sure to use the in-app locking feature. If you leave Urban Glide unlocked, anyone who tries can continue using it and be charged on your account. Your in-app locking feature ensures your ride is secure during brief pauses.

What happens if I ride outside the geofenced area?
If you go beyond the geofenced area, your e-scooter will automatically slow down and eventually come to a stop to ensure your safety and compliance with local regulations.

Urban Glides are pretty powerful, however we recommend 100Kg as maximum weight

A full charge takes approximately 2 hours

You can conveniently pay for your Urban Glide ride through the Urban Glide app by adding funds to your wallet.

Do Urban Glides come with safety gear like helmets and knee pads?
Urban Glides do not come with safety gear included. However, we strongly recommend all riders to prioritize safety and wear appropriate safety gear such as helmets when using UrbanGlide. Safety should always be your top priority.
